Dear Parents

Hello,

I am so excited to start the 2021-2022 school year. I am excited to work with your child and to learn and grow with them! I am sure you have questions for me. Please feel free to email me all of your questions and I will try to answer them the best that I can.

I will be reaching out to each of you and working to get to know you and your child within the first week of school. I want to be transparent with you and work to make sure that we are working to address the needs of your child. If I do not know the answer to your question I will do some research to find an answer or suggestion to try.

As your child's SPED teacher, it is my job to advocate for them. I also believe that it is my job to help them learn how to advocate for themselves. I knew in elementary school that I wanted to be a teacher when I grew up. I am so grateful that I found the special education program at BYU-Idaho.m It helped me find my passion. I will work with your child and help them realize that they can do hard things, they can learn, and they can achieve the things they dream of doing.

This is my goal as your child's teacher. I want to help them succeed and grow. I want your child to know that they can do hard things and achieve their dreams. Each child has the capacity to learn and to achieve their dreams. I cannot wait to work with your dream catcher!
